New Mana System

Spellcasting characters have a pool of mana based on class level, with bonus mana granted by having a high ability score. In order to cast a spell the caster expends an amount of mana equal to the level of spell he wishes to cast (so a first level spell costs one mana, a second level spell costs 2, and so on). The mana gained per class level is presented below by class. This system otherwise functions as the spell point system in terms of spell preparation, metamagic feats, and so forth.
